First Time Participant
Nancy Lamb shares a moment during setup with artist Kay Clark, who along with husband Joe, participated in the show for the first time, having just returned to the area after living away for many years.
Lots of Art
Twenty-six Summit artists, showing more than seventy-five original works of art -- that is an impressive show! If you would like to see more Photos of the 2009 Art Show click here. And watch for details of the 2010 Art Show.
Plans are already underway for the 2010 Art Show; expect a date to be announced soon. A location is already tentatively arranged which will allow the Art Show to be held at a private home Summit, a former home to a member of the famed Summit Trio. We expect the Silent Auction to be an important part of the Show. Through the generosity of these artists, the Society is able to raise some much-needed funds to defray the costs of sponsorship, while keeping admission to the show free to the public.
